If you need a portable tool for visualizing airflow, this is it. Easy to see, simple to use, no smell (with the cloud cartridges),and w/ no VOC's. I use it to test for leaks in air distribution equipment and systems and to see if airflow is laminar or turbulent.

This was my first time using the new cirrus wind indicator and i was quite impressed. I now have a way to check wind in any weather condition and in the dark. I love that I don't have to worry about my cell phone going dead and don't need to carry a flashlight. It's all in one now! Love it!

I handle a human remains detection K-9, and wind currents/air movement must be considered always. We carry small bottles of powder, which work fine in outdoor settings, but in buildings we need something a little more fine-tuned.
